Bush Sinks to 21 Percent Approval

   A CBS poll that came out today says that Mr. Bush's popularity ratings are sinking farther down into the abyss.

    21 percent think Bush's handling of the war is going good and they approve of it. Of course, that 21 percent consist mostly of Mr. Bush's family members, O'Reilly, and that Rush character. Even some of the Bush family members can be up for grabs so far as the support goes! I'm kidding! (?)

    21 percent is an 8 point drop since last month and that is from mostly Republicans and conservatives.

Jefferson Wins 9TH Term

     U.S. Rep. William Jefferson beat state Rep. Karen Carter on Saturday to win his ninth term in the 2nd congressional district.

   This is despite a federal probe into his having accepted bribes by aides and others and the F.B.I. finding $90,000 cash in his freezer!

    The probe is still continuing and Jefferson has basically said that he expects to be indicted. There are many other twists and turns as to why the voters may have re-elected this crook but you will have to go somewhere else for the  info.
