You might want to think about this for a while.
I was just browsing around on the Internet as I often do, and I came across some of the news stories on President Bush's National Guard desertion during the Vietnam war.
We all know that Bush was/is a deserter but we do not know what to do about it as all of his National Guard records were scrubbed. Big daddy Bush no doubt pulled some weight to make that happen because his son would never had made it to the presidency if it could have been proved that junior was a chicken shit war dodger!
Having little George's records scrubbed did two things. 1) It got rid of the evidence and, 2) it left only hearsay about his service.
What I found out though, is that there is no statute of limitations when deserting one's country during a time of war.
From the Department of Defense: ...because of the nature of the crimes; deserting one's country during a time of war, that there is NO statute of limitations, and these crimes, if proven, can still be prosecuted today.
Do you see where I am going with this? Maybe the American citizens of this country should call, fax, write, or email those members in Congress and the Senate to push them into re-opening this matter with a full investigation of our Presidents service record.
See HERE for more on Bush's AWOL story.
Just for the hell of it, I threw in John Kerry's military record comparing it to Bush's record. I am, happy to state that at least Kerry has a service record! Kerry/Bush service records
