Americans Say That Withdrawal Isn't Surrender

One Senator recently claimed that setting a date for a U.S. withdrawal from Iraq is more accurately described as a date for surrender — do you think it is accurate to compare withdrawal with surrender?

             Yes               No            Don't Know

All         33%               61%                  6%
Dem      20%               76%                4%

Rep       50%               45%                5%

Ind        34%               60%                6%

              Fox News asks this question

So we see that many of the American citizens are no longer buying into the Bush, Perino bullshit! Note that the only ones still going along with Bush are the Republicans, but that is slowly turning the other way also.

Karl Rove Being Investigated

The oversight continues with the next Bush Crime Family member being investigated, Karl Rove. It is about time that this clown got a much closer look.

...the Office of Special Counsel is preparing to jump into one of the most sensitive and potentially explosive issues in Washington, launching a broad investigation into key elements of the White House political operations that for more than six years have been headed by chief strategist Karl Rove.

The new investigation, which will examine the firing of at least one U.S. attorney, missing White House e-mails, and White House efforts to keep presidential appointees attuned to Republican political priorities, could create a substantial new problem for the Bush White House.
First, the inquiry comes from inside the administration, not from Democrats in Congress. Second, unlike the splintered inquiries being pressed on Capitol Hill, it is expected to be a unified investigation covering many facets of the political operation in which Rove played a leading part.      LATimes

Of course, Rove will just do as any top Republican in the Bush administration would do, plead the fifth. I'm not to sure if the investigation coming from within the administration is such a hot idea either, but we'll see.
