McCain Forgetting About Campaign Reform The He Sought

Running for the presidential nomination will surely make you change your ways of thinking. We have all heard Sen. John McCain railing about the need for campaign finance reform many times in the past because of all of the loopholes that are in the laws giving the bigger spenders the right of way to buy a person into office.

Now that McCain is trying to play catch up with the rest of the money crowd, he is in fact going after some of the very same big money people that he sought to curtain, A. Jerrold Perenchio being one of them.

McCain went to court a year or so back to try to stop a $9 million infusion to a group that Mr. Perenchio donated to. But now McCain is in fact in league with Perenchio (founder of Univision )  to raise some money  as the co-chairman of the McCain's national finance committee.

It is amazing how much a run for a political office can change your point of views on many things!

Once upon a time I would have cast my vote for John McCain, but after the sham with the so-called torture bill, any respect that I had for him went out the window.

In case you have not noticed, McCain is beginning to look like the second coming of George Bush and we surely do not need that in Washington, D.C. McCain needs to take is old, tired, ass back to Arizona and enjoy the sunshine for the few remaining years that he has left on this earth.

Bush And The Two Convicted Border Patrol Agents

From The Constitution Party, we get a look at the case of the two U.S. Border Patrol agents who are basically convicted of shooting a criminal in the ass and not reporting the fact that the firearms discharged.

Their prison terms started on January 17,with 11 and 12 year terms ahead of them. This is an assault on justice for either of these two men to be imprisoned.

The C.P.

President George W. Bush pardoned 16 criminals including five drug dealers at Christmastime, but so far has refused to pardon the two U.S. Border Patrol agents who were trying to defend Americans against drug smugglers. It makes us wonder which side the self-proclaimed "compassionate" President is on.

The White House and the U.S. Department of Justice are stonewalling requests for a presidential pardon from 55 Members of Congress and U.S. citizens who have sent at least 160,000 petitions and 15,000 faxes. When the Bush Administration deigns to respond at all, the official line is that the Border Patrol agents got a fair trial.

But that’s not true; they didn’t get a fair trial. They were convicted because the Justice Department sent investigators into Mexico, tracked down the drug smuggler, and gave him immunity from all prosecution for his drug smuggling crimes if he would please come back and testify against Ramos and Compean.

That's Bush Crime Family justice at its finest! I guess that the criminals in the world do look out for each other, sometimes.
