Time For Some Bush Kiss-Up?

   As you have heard by now, Mr. Bush had a meeting with the New Democrat Coalition this past Friday and with the Blue Dog Coalition to try and pave the way for a little support in his agenda. Bush is playing buddy-buddy with  the moderates and the conservative Democrats because he knows that his bullshit bills and such things are in trouble now. I would assume that Bush looks at this group as " Republican Lite."

   Bush has one problem though and that is the fact that for the past six years he hasn't cared what the Democrats think. they have not been called in for any advice on this sham of a war or for any of the legislation that this GOP team has passed.

Rep. Mike Thompson, D-St. Helena who was not at the meeting: Blue Dogs have a basic problem with Bush when he talks about controlling government spending and defending his tax cuts for the richest Americans.

"You don't have to look beyond the growth in the national debt and the federal deficit to see he isn't being totally honest,'' Thompson said
